Today it was 90° outside and tomorrow we are in a heat index warning for 93° in Kansas City, in May. Crazy weather! I think summer is coming.
The last Blog I wrote was right before Thanksgiving when it was cold. Time has sure marched on.
I did not finish my class and took some time off from my Master's degree.
This class is at a great time to think about next year and how to implement all this technology information. I am getting new music books with interactive texts and programs. Hopefully I can combine everything together.
Wow 90 degrees is sure different from this New England weather. It was in the 50s most of the week for us. Today was the first day I saw sun all week, and it reached above 70!
ReplyDeleteMy school has a band club that is lacking participants with the "right" instruments for a full sound, so this year we purchased a "thing" that connects to a Mac laptop. Now we can select the instrument we need and the computer converts it to that sound as you blow. I can't for the life of me remember what it is called. Do you know? Have you ever heard of this?
We were close to 90 degrees in South Carolina with humidity that made it feel awful. I am hoping next week is cooler. Larissa, I used to live in Ohio and we hardly ever saw the sun. I do not miss that. I think that I am solar powered and need the sun to function!
ReplyDeleteLarissa,
ReplyDeleteI do not know what that program is for band but it sounds awesome! I will have to ask one of the band techs! Since I am elementary, general music, we focus on Orff instruments, percussion, and recorders.
